Media Unit and Media Sign-On
The Media Unit will be located close to Race Control in the Pits / Paddock area and will look down towards the start / finish line. We’ll have tables and chairs if you fancy a rest and also a good view of the bikes as they leave the start / finish area. The Time-keepers will be located on the other side of the road close to the start / finish area.
Signing on takes place from 12.30pm until 2.20pm on Friday 6th August and from 8.30am until 10am on Saturday 7th August. All media will need to provide relevant insurance.
Staff will provide you with all relevant information and documents.
Broadband
Unfortunately we cannot offer broadband and phones at the Media Unit so we would advise you to bring along a laptop and mobile broadband dongle if you need to email photos / copy straight away.
Parking
The Samaritans are managing car parks and collecting money but if you show your MCUI media pass or your own media identification you will be exempt from the £5 charge!
Refreshments
On Race Day – Saturday 7th August media will be able to avail of coffee/tea and scones from 9.30 am and sandwiches at lunchtime – all served in the Media Unit.
